About the RoleJoin us in shaping the next generation of digital customer experiences in the financial services industry. As a Senior / Lead Developer for Core Data Services, you will drive technical architecture decisions, lead implementation activities on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), and help deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions in a highly collaborative environment.

In this role, you will take end-to-end technical ownership for Core Data Services development within a large-scale customer portal transformation program. You will combine hands-on development with technical leadership, guiding architecture decisions, mentoring developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of SAP BTP-based solutions through to go-live.

Key responsibilities
Lead the design and development of Core Data Services for customer-facing portal applications on SAP BTP and SAP RISE, following Clean Core principles.

Required Profile
Bachelor's in Engineering, IT, Science or technical field
5+ years in corporate IT in a similar role
Demonstrable experience in Java and common Java frameworks
Subject-matter expert (SME) in their technical domain
Genuine passion for technology and continuous improvement
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
Highly proactive; able to drive issue resolution independently
Experience working across multiple teams and managing technical dependencies
Comfortable in fast-paced, complex enterprise environments
Skills and attributes for success
10+ years commercial experience building web applications (Java + frontend)
Practical experience with Java 25 and Spring Boot
REST APIs and SOAP integrations experience
