For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior AI-Native Software Engineer / Coach to drive the transformation of software development through the practical application of AI.
The objective of this project is to fundamentally transform the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by leveraging AI, enabling AI agents to increasingly take over engineering tasks while humans focus on direction, validation and quality assurance.
The ideal candidate combines a strong software engineering background with extensive hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools, coding agents and agentic workflows.
Your responsibilities:
Drive the transition towards an end-to-end AI-powered and increasingly autonomous software development model
Design and implement agentic workflows in which AI agents analyse requirements, write and modify code, execute tests and support code reviews
Integrate and automate AI-driven solutions within existing enterprise applications and complex development environments
Define quality standards, human approval gates and governance practices to ensure the safe and traceable use of autonomous AI agents
Work closely with development teams to establish AI-native ways of working, coaching and mentoring engineers in directing, supervising and validating AI-driven development workflows
Design and deliver hands-on training sessions and workshops to strengthen AI engineering capabilities, encourage experimentation and support the sustainable adoption of AI-powered development practices
Your profile:
Several years of hands-on software engineering experience, including the development, testing and maintenance of enterprise applications
Strong practical expertise in generative AI and LLMs, including RAG, structured data extraction, tool and function calling, and agentic workflows
Extensive hands-on experience using AI-powered development tools and coding agents, such as GitHub Copilot or comparable solutions, as an integral part of daily engineering work
Experience implementing AI-powered automation within existing projects, as well as knowledge of DevOps, testing and modern development practices
Solid understanding of the end-to-end Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from product discovery and requirements analysis through to architecture, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance
Ability to rapidly build prototypes, experiment with new approaches and challenge traditional software development processes
Proven experience in coaching and mentoring software engineers, delivering technical training and enabling teams to adopt new tools, methodologies and AI-native engineering practices
Fluent in English, German is a big plus

In diesem Projekt unterstützt du die agile Umsetzung eines komplexen und technologisch anspruchsvollen IT-Vorhabens. Du verantwortest die Etablierung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung agiler Arbeitsmethoden, begleitest interdisziplinäre Teams und stellst eine effiziente Zusammenarbeit innerhalb des Agile Release Trains (ART) sowie mit verschiedenen internen und externen Stakeholdern sicher.
Deine Aufgaben:
Etablieren und Weiterentwickeln agiler Arbeitsweisen innerhalb des Teams
Erstellen und Pflegen von Team Working Agreements sowie agilen Standards
Organisieren, Moderieren und Nachbereiten von Scrum- und SAFe-Zeremonien
Unterstützung des Product Owners bei der Pflege und Strukturierung des Product Backlogs
Coaching von Teammitgliedern und Stakeholdern in agilen Methoden und Best Practices
Identifizieren, Nachverfolgen und Beseitigen von Impediments
Sicherstellen einer transparenten Kommunikation über Fortschritte, Risiken und Abhängigkeiten
Koordinieren der Zusammenarbeit mit weiteren agilen Teams und externen Partnern
Definieren und Nachverfolgen geeigneter KPIs und OKRs zur Zielerreichung
Kontinuierliches Optimieren von Prozessen, Tools und Teamstrukturen
Fördern eines effizienten Onboardings neuer Teammitglieder
Unterstützen des Abhängigkeits- und Schnittstellenmanagements im SAFe-Umfeld
Dein Profil:
Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Scrum Master in agilen Software- oder Digitalisierungsprojekten
Höhere Ausbildung in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
Fundierte Kenntnisse von Scrum sowie Erfahrung in skalierten agilen Frameworks wie SAFe
Nachweisbare Erfahrung in der Moderation von Workshops, Retrospektiven und Planungsveranstaltungen
