As a Senior Software Engineer, Core Reliability on the Infra Reliability team within Platform, you'll help Coinbase scale 50x by improving reliability, security, and deployment safety across our production environment. This team owns the systems that secure service configurations and secrets, reduce customer-facing incidents, and strengthen deployment infrastructure supporting thousands of services and hundreds of daily releases. You'll lead high-impact reliability projects that make our entire service environment more resilient and safer for customers.
What you'll do:
- Own the design and delivery of reliability projects and features that improve resiliency across Coinbase's service environment in partnership with other engineering teams.
- Partner with critical T0/T1 services to understand architecture, improve scalability, and reduce operational toil.
- Build and enhance systems that securely manage service configurations and secrets at scale.
- Improve canary-based release systems and expand deployment capabilities to support thousands of services and hundreds of daily deployments with fewer incidents.
- Drive reliability best practices and strengthen reliability culture across engineering teams at Coinbase.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, and maintaining production services in service-oriented architectures, including experience with Ruby, Go, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
- Demonstrated ability to design and operate reliable, high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems at scale, with a track record of writing well-tested, production-quality code.
- Proven experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Kibana, Datadog) to debug complex production issues, tune system performance, and reduce incident frequency.
- Experience writing and verbally communicating architecture decisions to cross-functional engineering stakeholders.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations and respond to issues outside normal business hours.
- Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

$186,065—$197,010 USD

The Processing team builds and maintains the real-time interfaces between Lithic and external payment networks. Every card authorization, clearing message, and settlement file flows through systems this team owns. Für unseren Kunden in Hannover, suchen wir eine:n erfahrene:n, motivierte:n und aufgeschlossene:n Azure DevOps Engineer (50%).
In dieser Rolle unterstützt du ein Unternehmen aus der Leasing- und Finanzdienstleistungsbranche in Deutschland beim Aufbau und der Weiterentwicklung einer modernen Azure-basierten IT-Architektur. Du verantwortest die Konzeption, Automatisierung und Optimierung standardisierter CI/CD-Prozesse und schaffst die technischen Voraussetzungen für einen sicheren, effizienten und skalierbaren Produktivbetrieb. Dabei arbeitest du eng mit verschiedenen Entwicklungsteams zusammen und begleitest den Übergang von der Proof-of-Concept-Phase in den produktiven Betrieb.
Deine Aufgaben:
Aufbau, Konfiguration und Weiterentwicklung von Azure DevOps, insbesondere Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines und YAML-basierten CI/CD-Pipelines
Entwicklung und Automatisierung wiederverwendbarer Deployment-Prozesse und Pipeline-Frameworks mittels Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Implementierung und Verwaltung von Repository-Strukturen, Branch Policies, Berechtigungen, Service Connections und Sicherheitsmechanismen
Standardisierung und Automatisierung von Build-, Test-, Validierungs- und Deployment-Prozessen für APIs, Adapter und Camunda-Prozessartefakte
Sicherstellung von Qualität, Nachvollziehbarkeit und Sicherheit durch Quality Gates, automatisierte Tests, Versionierung und Security Scans
Implementierung von Monitoring-, Logging- und Observability-Lösungen zur Überwachung und Analyse von Deployments und Betriebsprozessen
Entwicklung von Rollback-, Redeployment- und Recovery-Mechanismen sowie Erstellung technischer Dokumentationen und Betriebsanleitungen
Unterstützung der Entwicklungsteams durch standardisierte Templates, automatisierte Workflows und Best Practices für einen zuverlässigen ProduktivbetriebDein Profil:

Designing, developing and maintaining our web application with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS and TypeScript: the flow editor, call analytics, billing and partner tools.
Building our native companion app with Expo / React Native or Swift.
Building features across the stack, from the user interface to the database with Prisma and PostgreSQL, and the Python services behind them.
Owning features end to end: turning customer needs into requirements, shipping them and checking that they help.
Applying DevOps practices to support development and deployment, including Docker and, when appropriate, Kubernetes.
