Python/Scala Developer for Transaction Monitoring

Czym będziesz się zajmować?

Role summary: Own quality on the two hardest surfaces of a production AI coaching platform:

the LLM agents that answer differently every run, and the API layer everything else depends on.

As AI & Backend QA Engineer you own the quality of what the model says and what the APIs return. On the AI side that means building the evaluation practice: golden sets, quality metrics, and regression detection that catch a degraded answer before a user does. On the backend side it means API test suites and consumer-driven contract testing with Pact — agreed with the client's US engineering team as a standing requirement for this role, not an optional technique.

The defining skill is localization: when an answer is wrong, you can tell whether the problem sits in the model, in the service code, or in the input data — and you bring the evidence, not a guess.

What you'll be testing:
AI core — a Python service with LangGraph agents producing streaming, non-deterministic coaching responses; this
role's primary surface
Backend APIs — a NestJS REST gateway behind Auth0, plus the services behind it
Mobile app — React Native, shipping to iOS and Android app stores; AI features surface directly in the app that
members use

Kogo poszukujemy?

Must-have skills:
3+ years in technical QA/test automation, incl. API testing on production
Python — writing/maintaining tests, pytest, fixtures
HTTP/API fundamentals — REST, JSON, status codes, headers, auth tokens
Contract testing with Pact — consumer-driven contracts (hard requirement)
Security-aware API testing — auth boundaries, token handling, malformed/hostile input
Comfort with non-determinism — assert on properties/contracts, not exact output
LLM evaluation — datasets/golden sets, response metrics, detect regressions across prompts/models
Prompt engineering — modify prompts and measure effects; aware of hallucinations and prompt injection
Backend savvy — HTTP/REST, JSON, tokens, logs, DB queries; isolate model v…

About the team
The AI Build team is a new, industry-focused team dedicated to building with the world’s leading and fastest-scaling AI companies. We work alongside Stripe’s AI Solutions Architecture and GTM teams, and across Stripe’s product suite to help customers adopt emerging products, close interoperability and 0→1 solution gaps, and bring field learning directly into Stripe’s product roadmap. The team owns strategic proof-of-concept engagements across the pre- and post-sales lifecycle, complementing Stripe’s AI account teams and the product depth of Stripe’s specialist teams.

Role Description
As a Senior Client Platform Engineer on CorpFleet Engineering, you will own and improve Dropbox’s Windows endpoint platform. You will bring deep Windows and Intune expertise, make patching and application delivery more reliable, and build automation that reduces recurring work for the team.

This is a hands-on role combining Windows technical ownership with the development of a more code-managed endpoint platform. You will help evaluate and adopt FleetDM, osquery, infrastructure-as-code, and GitOps practices where they improve reliability, visibility, and maintainability. You will strengthen the current environment while building and validating the path forward—not assume that replacing a tool is the answer.

You will work with CorpInfra, IAM, Security, and support teams to make practical technical decisions, lead multi-phase improvements, and clarify ownership. You will also mentor teammates through pairing, code review, and shared operational practices. This is an individual-contributor role, not a people-management position.

Responsibilities

Own endpoint reliability and lifecycle management. Improve provisioning, application delivery, updates, security configuration, and troubleshooting across the endpoint environment.

Make patching predictable and safe. Strengthen update workflows through testing, controlled rollouts, and remediation.

Make fleet health trustworthy and actionable. Improve reporting on device health, patching, and configuration, with clear ownership for resolving issues.

Build maintainable automation. Turn recurring work into reliable, tested workflows that other engineers can operate.

Advance code-managed endpoint operations. Adopt tools and practices that improve configuration management, validation, and deployment.

Lead cross-functional platform improvements. Define practical roadmaps, resolve dependencies, and balance security, reliability, employee experience, and team capacity.

Strengthen the team’s capability. Mento…
